Hello Primary Parents!

 

We send all of our love to you during this time!  Please see below for some resources and ideas for some Primary time at home, provided by Misty:

 

A propros of our fasting and prayer today, this week’s lesson is on Enos and prayer. General Conference is coming up next week, and with that, we get to hear from the prophet and our leaders. At this difficult time, we pray that we can listen to their messages with open hearts. We pray that Heavenly Father will comfort us. We pray that we will know how we can help others.

 

A song we’ll learn later this year is “Faith” (CS #96). This week’s lesson reminds us of that song and it connects with last week’s lesson about working in the Lord’s vineyard. We can plant that seed of faith and tend to it. Watch this cute video on prayer from a kid’s perspective. For help on how we pray, check out “I Pray in Faith” (CS #14).

 

Keep practicing the songs we’ve learned so far this year: The Iron Rod, I Feel My Savior’s Love, and I Know that My Redeemer Lives. Something to help with the first bits of “I Know that My Redeemer Lives” is helping with the rhyming words at the end of each line: Lives/Gives, Dead/Head, Love/Above, and Feed/Need.

 

A special challenge for you kids this week: choose a primary song and make a video of you and/or your family singing it. It doesn’t even need to be the whole song. You could also try playing it on an instrument, or even full-blown acting it out. I’ll edit them together for us to watch. There is a reward for the kids who submit a video!
